Cricket Mania Minus Ads

I don't know about the rest of you guys, but for me watching world cup without the agreeably annoying ads is not the same. Even though the ads were played repeatedly, they were part of my ‘world cup’ watching experience. Ads like ‘MRF-Zima’, and ‘CEAT’ come to my mind.

In US, watching cricket via satellite has taken away that experience. I went through this last two world cups as well, it’s not new. However, this time we have ‘youtube’ to rescue us. I don’t want to provide all the links here. But, I like the ‘nike’ one, and planning to watch others as well. Let me know what’s your ‘youtube’ world cup ad is.

p.s. This 'TATA Sky' ad tells me that guys/gals in India can watch cricket in multiple angles. Any reviews?

I understand your point but I for one am glad about the ads part. Watching an ad once or twice is fine, but repeating the same advertisement ad nauseum makes me want to pull the hair out of my head.

Already, the stupid shaadi.com ads etc are nauseating - I am not entirely sure I could stand any more ads - even decent ones.

If you want to watch an ad, as you said in your post, youtube is the place :)

It's like commentary during a tennis match -- I don't mind commentary as long as it's in between points. American commentators are so intent on doing their jobs (or getting carried away by them) that they talk IN BETWEEN points.

I would rather not having commentary at all rather than having them blab away during a point or hear them talk to some football celebrity.

Correction: "rather not have commentary at all than have them talk away during a point or hear them talk to some football celebrity."
